The Virgin Project goes live!
Volume 2 debuted on June 5 with a reading by Kevin at Comics Dungeon http://comicsdungeon.com, 250 NE 45th in Wallingford. The reading was at 2 p.m., followed by Q&A and a signing event until 5 p.m.

The Virgin Project launches all-new second volume
Two years after The Virgin Project debuted its first collection of illustrated personal stories, the second volume in the series was unveiled April 30 exclusively at the eighth annual Seattle Erotic Art Festival. Once again, Seattle artist K.D. Boze and his cousin, Idaho illustrator Stasia Kato, are collaborators on the project, drawing true-life stories about first-time sexual encounters in comic book format. Seattle publisher Fanny Press is issuing Volume 2 of The Virgin Project.
The second volume contains all new stories: Erin was a teenager in the formal garden of a Catholic church. Mitch hallucinated on acid the first time. Katya found weed and free love in San Francisco . Mel was a young Army recruit who got caught. Josh was an art student who found his life-drawing muse. Bill’s father took him to a hooker in a trailer park for his 16th birthday.
Boze and Kato collected stories at an interactive exhibit during three previous SEAF events. At this year’s festival, they will introduce the new volume, present a discussion about the ongoing project and do a book signing. The program is scheduled for Saturday, May 1, at 12:30 p.m. during the festival at the Exhibition Hall at Seattle Center.

publicly after the Seattle Erotic Art Festival, beginning May 3, 2010. Both
volumes of The Virgin Project are available from Fanny Press by ordering on-line
at www.thevirginproject.com.

during the month of April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, allowed The
Virgin Project to donate $1,036 to the non-profit King County Sexual Assault
Resource Center - www.kcsarc.org.
The donation was made in honor of the brave men and women who shared their
stories of rape and recovery for The Virgin Project. The vision of KCSARC is to
alleviate, as much as possible, the trauma of sexual assault for victims and
their families. Thank you for supporting this mission and helping to make
progress toward eliminating sexual assault.

There was a staged reading of "The Virgin Project" held on April 13th at The Crypt, 1516 11th Ave, in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood.
A book signing was held from 2-4pm on Saturday, April 19th at Jackson Street Books, 23rd and Jackson, in Seattle.

March 1, 2008 , marked the public debut of The Virgin Project at the annual Seattle Erotic Art Festival Gala. Co-authors Kevin Boze and Stasia Kato were invited to exhibit for the third consecutive year. The first Virgin Project book, a 140-page volume of stories, was unveiled at the event and copies were sold to help support the festival.
